London’s Chelsea was the setting for a stunning spectacle this spring as Salon Privé’s Supercar Saturday, showcasing the rarest classic, super and hypercars, saw crowds flock to the UK’s most renowned concours.
Where fashion meets sports car design and more, this high-octane, luxury automotive garden party saw the ultimate supercar celebration, creating an exhilarating day complete with unrivalled automobiles, luxury retail and glamourous guests in the capital.
Sunshine, Champagne and the chicest line-up, Salon Privé is renowned as a deluxe day out where car enthusiasts can get up-close-and-personal with their favourite models.
Held across three remarkable days – culminating with Supercar Saturday - Salon Privé London brings together spectacular cars, luxury shopping, fashion and signature Salon Privé hospitality in a wonderfully welcoming setting.
Sloane Street Concours
The main event, set on the immaculate lawns of the Royal Hospital Chelsea. followed an exclusive supercar taster display on London’s famous Sloane Street the previous week, which saw £100m-worth of automotive icons take over a luxury shopping cornerstone of Chelsea… And this was only the preview!
From the Aston Martin Valhalla and McLaren F1 GTR to exceptional examples from Gordon Murray Automotive, the taster promo gave a rare glimpse into the world of Salon Privé for one remarkable day, bringing together an awe-inspiring mix of heritage and contemporary performance on one of the city’s most prestigious streets.
Set against luxury boutiques and the Jumeirah Carlton Tower, a true icon of British style in Knightsbridge, the relaxed yet refined automobile showcase brought dozens of extraordinary vehicles into the heart of Chelsea, creating a sophisticated streetscape display of 25 classic cars alongside their modern counterparts.
Automative artistry
Lined from Louis Vuitton and Valentino to Hermès, a curated collection of classics, supercars and hypercars was presented by Salon Privé in partnership with historic Sloane Street, seeing one of London’s most prestigious shopping districts and elegant dining destinations transformed into a sensational open-air concours.
Throughout the day, from the Grid Wall to the Grand Départ, the inaugural Salon Privé Sloane Street Concours display featured rare exotics such as the sublime Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder, while Automotive Artisans showed the R33, a modern homage to the 1968 Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stradale, and Halcyon Cars presented their remastered Rolls-Royce Corniche, reimagining a British luxury classic for the modern era.
A specially selected 1961 Jaguar E-Type 3.8 Flat Floor Roadster, presented by DD Classics, took pride of place at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower’s main entrance to mark the property’s anniversary year on the famous Knightsbridge shopping street.
Other highlights included Nichols Cars presenting the impressive N1A from Steve Nichols, best known for designing arguably the most successful Grand Prix car of all time - the 1988 McLaren-Honda MP4/4.
Encor Design presented the Series 1 alongside the iconic Lotus Esprit S1, while hypercar fans soaked up Joe Macari’s incredible display, including a McLaren F1 GTR and Maserati MC12 GT1.
Dior & more
The legendary street’s high-end boutiques also joined the celebrations with an exclusive programme of in-store, immersive experiences and activations, seeing visitors enjoy a curated selection of experiences and capturing the essence of Sloane Street style at its finest.
Dior and Bottega Veneta added another layer of indulgence in between 25 remarkable classic and contemporary cars never seen before on the streets of London.
Curated culinary experiences saw guests indulge in delectable delights such as freshly shucked oysters from Red Oyster, artisan delicacies from La Maison Ani by Chef Izu and gourmet gnocchi by Jumeirah Carlton Tower, all perfectly paired with Pommery Champagne.
Delivering a tantalising taste of the main Salon Privé London event at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, this very special day brought this sumptuous city street to life, turning it into an opulent, open-air celebration of automotive artistry.
Old v. new on Sloane Street’s ‘green boulevard’
The event’s ‘old vs. new’ theme paired historic models with modern hypercars against the backdrop of Chelsea’s recently redeveloped ‘green boulevard’.
With the objective of enhancing wellbeing and increasing dwell time, the 1km boulevard - stretching from Knightsbridge to Sloane Square - has undergone an amazing ‘greening’, achieved by a massive planting scheme inspired by the horticultural heritage of Chelsea, conceived by Chelsea Flower Show winner Andy Sturgeon.
The green infrastructure and horticulturally driven design scheme introduced more than 100 new trees, following a royal colour palette of reds, purples and blues. The plants will offer year-round splendour, with flowers, berries and a sculptural branch structure during the winter months.
A more pedestrian-friendly environment has been implemented by widening the pavement, along with measures to strengthen security and ease traffic. Lighting has been enhanced and street furniture introduced, with planters acting as physical buffers between traffic and pedestrians.
Enriching biodiversity ensures a lasting environmental legacy for Sloane Street by implementing sustainability measures, such as the use of UK-sourced stone, drought-resistant plants, and LED lighting to reduce energy consumption.

Sir Elton John’s “rock-and-roll” Rolls-Royce Phantom VI on sale
Sir Elton John’s 1970s Rolls-Royce Phantom VI went on sale at Salon Privé London via luxury car dealer Tom Hartley.
Finished in Mason’s black with matching black leather upholstery and tinted windows, the car is widely regarded as the ultimate “rock-and-roll” motor car within Sir Elton’s collection, with the ‘Rocketman’ himself regarding the Phantom with particular affection, describing it as one of his favourite vehicles.
Members of Sir Elton’s staff affectionately nicknamed the Rolls as “The Bus” and “The Tank”, reflecting both its imposing presence and its regular use.
While Elton once remarked, “I've used this car a lot. It's really comfy. We did tours in the country in it. It's got a great stereo system, 36 speakers and a fax machine!”

With GATINEAU Ladies’ Day delivering a spectacular celebration of style, sophistication and world-class motoring on the Royal Hospital Chelsea’s lawns, E&E magazine celebrity style contributor – milliner to the stars (Lady Gaga, Kate Moss, Amanda Holden and Dame Joan Collins), TV presenter and ‘Britain’s Next Top Model’ judge, Louis Mariette - was, of course, one of the prestigious event’s celebrity milliner creators.
Louis fashioned an epic, sustainable, swirling nature headpiece in colour-of-the-spring season yellow for GATINEAU Ladies’ Day, impeccably worn by Bollywood star and our Surrey Fashion Week model Sofia Hayat.
Motorsport + fashion – introducing Malman x Salon Privé
As for the men, from sharp summer suits to relaxed blazers and refined details, tailoring took centre stage at Salon Privé.
The high standard of men’s style added a distinct sense of occasion across the capital’s lawns.
Salon Privé also unveiled at this show its first official merchandise collection in collaboration with Malman - the inaugural style supplier for Salon Privé was founded by famous racing driver Manuel Maldonado.
The limited-edition capsule combines Malman’s paddock-inspired design with the refined heritage synonymous with Salon Privé. Debuting at Salon Privé London, the luxury streetwear label redefines luxury streetwear while celebrating racing heritage, British craftsmanship and innovation.
Bridging the two different worlds of motorsport and fashion, Malman is a reflection of the car racing world and modern street style, combining British iconography with nostalgic references.
Manuel Maldonado says his brand translates that experience into garments that allow others to share in the culture and energy of the sport in a way that feels personal and understated.
“Now, there’s merchandise everywhere, especially in motorsport. It’s all team logos, driver names, and loud graphics,” says the racing driver.
“But I wanted to create something different. Malman exists for those who love the sport itself, not just a team or a driver.”
