Terms And Conditions



1.1 Events and Entertainment acts as a booking agency arranging entertainment services between Clients and independent Performers.

1.2 By confirming a booking, the Client agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

1.3 A legally binding contract is formed once the booking is confirmed verbally, electronically, or in writing by all relevant parties.


2. FEES & COMMISSION

2.1 A deposit of 25% of the total booking fee is normally required to secure a performance date.

2.2 The remaining balance is due no later than 28 days before the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2.3 Our standard agency commission is 17.5% OR a minimum of £60 per booking, whichever is greater.

2.4 This commission covers full booking management, coordination, negotiation with the Performer, payment handling, and administration of the booking.

2.5 The commission is included in or added to the total booking price as agreed at the time of confirmation.

2.6 Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking and cancellation charges becoming payable.

2.7 Late payments may incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate.


3. CLIENT CANCELLATION

3.1 All cancellations must be made in writing.

3.2 Cancellation fees apply as follows:
• More than 84 days: 25% of remaining balance
• 57–84 days: 50%
• 29–56 days: 75%
• Within 28 days: 100%

3.3 Cancellation charges become immediately payable upon cancellation.


4. PERFORMER AVAILABILITY

4.1 If a Performer becomes unavailable, Events and Entertainment will use reasonable efforts to secure a suitable replacement of similar style and standard.

4.2 If no replacement can be agreed, all monies paid will be refunded excluding any unrecoverable costs already incurred.


5. EVENT REQUIREMENTS

5.1 The Client is responsible for providing:
• safe performance area
• adequate power supply
• reasonable access for setup
• suitable venue conditions


6. PERFORMANCE & SAFETY

6.1 Performers may stop or terminate performance immediately if they are exposed to abusive, threatening, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour.

6.2 In such circumstances, the full booking fee remains payable.

6.3 The Client is responsible for the conduct of guests, attendees, and venue staff.


7. CHANGES TO BOOKINGS

7.1 Requests to change date, time, venue, or performance details must be made as early as possible.

7.2 All changes are subject to Performer availability and agreement.

7.3 Additional costs may apply where changes require extra administration, travel, or performance adjustments.


8. LIABILITY

8.1 Events and Entertainment is not liable for indirect or consequential losses including loss of profit, reputation, or business opportunity.

8.2 Liability is limited to the total booking value except where such limitation is not permitted by law.


9. FUTURE BOOKINGS

9.1 Any booking of a Performer introduced by Events and Entertainment within 18 months of the original introduction must be arranged via the Agency.

9.2 If a direct booking is made outside the Agency during this period, the standard commission of 17.5% or £60 minimum (whichever is greater) may become payable.


10. GOVERNING LAW

10.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
