Singing sensation Jessie Ware has just released ‘Automatic’, taken from her new album ‘Superbloom’ released by EMI Records last month.

Seeing the multiple BRIT Award nominee at her most magnetic - commanding, sensual and fully locked into her power - the track is elevated by a scene-stealing spoken cameo from acclaimed actor Colman Domingo, “Do you know what you’ve got? You’ve got a perfect woman.”

The result is something both tongue-in-cheek and transcendent, a playful meditation on desire, devotion and feminine divinity, delivered with Ware’s signature wink.

The track continues to reveal the album’s rich, cinematic world - one shaped by pleasure, intimacy and self-possession.

Where previous releases nodded to escapism, ‘Superbloom’ leans fully into embodiment; a record alive with touch, connection and the quiet power of knowing exactly who you are.

“‘Automatic’ was the first song where I really felt like I was bringing the dance and soul world together for this record,” Jessie explains.

“I wrote it with Kamille, Karma Kid and Baz. Karma had this amazing sample and groove, and it all clicked instantly. Kamille and I couldn’t stop writing; it just flowed really naturally. That’s probably what I love most about it - it feels effortless and like it can exist in any setting.”

The voice of the love gods

She says ‘Automatic’ is a celebration of romance and connection. “I was actually the voice at the beginning at first, but I wanted someone sexier and smoother and I knew Colman Domingo was the man for the job! He comes in as this ‘voice of the love gods’.”

“I remember being in a strings session for the album when I had the idea to ask him, and he said ‘yes’ straight away. I gave him the script and he voice noted it back within the hour! I feel really lucky to have friends who are up for indulging my ideas.”

‘Superbloom’ marks the next chapter in Jessie’s acclaimed run of releases following her two UK Top 3 albums ‘What’s Your Pleasure?’ and 2023’s ‘That! Feels Good!’, both of which cemented her exploring themes of pleasure, intimacy, connection and transformation, cementing her reputation as one of the most exciting voices in modern pop.

Expanding her increasingly euphoric sonic world, the album erupts into a glittering rush of Studio 54-inflected groove-pop.

The record arrives almost three years after Ware’s critically acclaimed That! Feels Good!, which debuted at No. 3 on the Official UK Albums Chart and marked her highest-ever entry on the US Top Album Sales chart.

Across the project, Jessie refines and expands her sonic language, drawing on the warmth of ‘70s soul, the pulse of disco and a distinctly modern sense of control.

There’s a clarity to ‘Superbloom’; an artist not just exploring fantasy but defining it on her own terms.

With ‘Automatic’, that vision sharpens into focus: confident, seductive and unmistakably Jessie Ware.

The Superbloom tour: cowboys & goddesses

Jessie has also announced The Superbloom Tour in support of her new album – her biggest global tour to date and first-ever UK arena run.

Kicking off in Toronto, Canada, on October 6th, the tour will see the star perform across North America with stops in New York’s iconic Radio City Music Hall, Washington DC, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre, too, before heading to Mexico City at Teatro Metropolitan.

The run continues across Europe before culminating in a landmark UK arena stretch, including a huge hometown show at London’s The O2 Arena, alongside dates in Glasgow and Manchester.

“I am so excited to be performing my biggest shows ever. We made it to arenas!!!” says the singer.

“I am playing iconic venues around the world and I couldn’t be happier. The ‘Superbloom’ Tour will be filled with celebration, dancing, theatre, cowboys and goddesses and, of course, a LOT of singing. Can’t wait to step into my garden where we all shall bloom!”

Renowned for her euphoric live performances, Jessie has delivered landmark sets at Glastonbury, Primavera Sound and the British Fashion Awards, while building a devoted global fanbase through hits including ‘Free Yourself’, ‘Pearls’ and ‘Begin Again’.

With ‘Superbloom’ and her most ambitious live run yet, Jessie Ware enters a new era - confident, glamorous and fully in bloom.
