Katharine Arnold is an internationally acclaimed aerial artist, choreographer, and creative consultant, specialising in aerial hoop, rope, silks, and duo cage. She performs both as a solo artist and alongside her long-term aerial partner, Hugo Desmarais. A First-Class Honours graduate in Theatre and Performing Arts, Katharine is celebrated for her exceptional technical skill, commanding stage presence, and refined theatrical storytelling. She presents a repertoire of highly developed signature acts, frequently booked for prestigious events, cabaret, theatre, and large-scale productions. In addition, she creates bespoke aerial experiences, tailoring music, costumes, character development, and narrative concepts to each client. Katharine’s career spans international live events, cabaret, theatre, film, television, and cruise productions. Highlights include her work as aerial choreographer, stunt double, and coach on Disney’s Dumbo (directed by Tim Burton), performances with Cirque du Soleil, and appearances in major productions across London’s West End, Europe, North America, and the Middle East. A long-standing performer with acclaimed shows such as La Clique, La Soirée, and Majestique, Katharine has toured extensively with artists including Take That, contributing both as a performer and aerial choreographer for stadium-scale productions. She has performed at iconic venues including Madison Square Garden, The Chicago Theatre, Le Lido Paris, and Friedrichstadt-Palast Berlin. Alongside performance, Katharine is an experienced creative director, circus consultant, and aerial choreographer, regularly leading aerial elements for large-scale award ceremonies, festivals, and luxury events worldwide. She is also an educator, teaching aerial disciplines and act creation at degree level and through professional workshops. Whether delivering a visually arresting solo act, an elegant duo performance, or a fully customised aerial experience, Katharine brings a rare combination of technical excellence, theatrical sophistication, and creative adaptability—making her a highly sought-after artist for high-end events, productions, and bespoke commissions.
